I believe that meaningful change happens when we have the courage to face our struggles with honesty, compassion, and curiosity. My goal is to provide a warm, supportive space where you can better understand yourself, strengthen your relationships, and move toward a life that feels more authentic and fulfilling. I welcome and affirm clients of all sexual orientations, gender identities, relationship structures, faith backgrounds, and cultural experiences.

I earned my Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Communication Studies from California State University, Northridge, and my Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Chapman University. Throughout my training, I have worked with individuals, couples, families, and children in a variety of clinical settings.

My experience includes providing therapy at the Frances Smith Center, supporting stroke survivors and their families through Stroke Bootcamp, and working with youth and parents from underserved communities through The Wooden Floor. Prior to becoming a therapist, I worked in the legal field, including family law, which deepened my understanding of the challenges people face during times of conflict, transition, and stress.

I have a special interest in relationship and attachment issues, self-esteem, anxiety disorders, depression, and trauma. My graduate research focused on Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), the Gottman Method, and Existential Therapy. My work is informed by evidence-based approaches and grounded in research, while remaining tailored to the unique needs and goals of each client.

As someone who grew up in a working-class family in the San Fernando Valley, I value authenticity, resilience, and personal growth. I take a holistic approach to wellness, recognizing the connection between our emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being. For clients who wish to incorporate faith into therapy, I am comfortable integrating Christian values or any spirituality into our work together.

Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy staying active, podcasts and audiobooks, serving in my church community, and spending time with my two cats. I would be honored to support you as you navigate life's challenges and create meaningful change!
